Ruth Stuff by Ruth... Jesus and Passover Studying Scripture - Part 1 I also help write the JesusCafe Scripture Squad column! I chose the nick name Ruth because I admire the faith of the Biblical Ruth very much. She placed her faith her life and her future in God's hands...and look at her reward: an ancestor of our Messiah. Jesus Café was the first chat room I "discovered" (God led me!!) in Oct. 1996, and I haven't left it yet! I'm a wife and mom and love these roles that God has given me. I came to know the Lord because someone took the time to tell me that He loves me unconditionally. I want to continue to tell people that He does indeed love and forgive! I think as believers we should study God's Word and know what we believe. I also think that we are called to defend His Word, and obey it. I believe the entire Bible is relevant for today. I love reading from the Psalms, because no matter what circumstances you are going through at the time, there is always something in Psalms that shows God's understanding and love. I urge everyone to read the Bible through in its entirety from Genesis through Revelation. Micah 6:8 ... "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"
