Revised Juen 30, 2001
We Believe . . .
- We believe hat the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
- We believe in only one God, but in the unity of the Godhead there are three eternal and coequal Persons, the same in substance but distinct in subsistence.
- We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and He paid our debt to God on the cross after living a perfect, sinless life.
- We also believe that Jesus will return one day for His Church, made up of all born again believers.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all born again believers.
- We believe that Satan is real.
- We believe that man is sinful and in need of a Savior.
- We believe there is one condition for salvation: faith in Jesus Christ. Our faith is placed in Christ as our substitute for and Savior from sin.
- We believe in the existence of heaven and hell.
- We believe that we are called to share the gospel with those who have ears to hear (the great commision- Matthew 28:19-20), and that we are to trust the Holy Spirit to minister through us to others.
Our Purpose
"But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." (1 Timothy 1:5)
The JesusCafé was originally started on eWorld. It was a chat room in which everyone is welcome. It is a ministry of inclusion, rather than exclusion. It is a place for prayer, fellowship, support, discussion, and fun times!
This ministry currently does not offer chat rooms, but continues in Internet evangelism via our web site resources, ePrayerNet, and discussion boards.
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we want to reach those who do not know Christ as Savior, and hope that those who do know Christ will be strengthened. Above all, this room is to be a testimony to the love and glory of God.
